Daily Mail Vs. Daily Beast
Recently in news, the Mueller report was released and so were the thousands of articles about it. Although there was only one Mueller report, there were many different ways it could be presented to the general population and each news source was clearly bias in their own way. First off, on the Daily Beast, they called their article about the Mueller Report, "John Oliver Exposes ‘Most Shocking’ Part of the Mueller Report," which already shows the stand point of this news outlet. The diction used in this title is pushing the idea that their is more to be uncovered from the report and that this is not just all of the dirt that they have on Trump. As I read on, the article seems to just be completely bashing Trump instead of describing the Mueller report in detail. I honestly do not understand it and no articles I have read have helped. Once I looked over this article, I scrolled down a little further and clicked on Daily Mail's article on the Mueller report. At first, the article did not seem to lighten up on Trump however, in a way it did. The facts were all still there, but I saw less of the bashing on Trump himself. The statements made by the author were clear and written in a way anyone could understand it.
After going over the two, I decided to see where they stand on the political bias map and it turns out that Daily Mail has more of a right sided view of things which is the opposite from the Daily Beast. Not only is Daily Mail on the right but they also are known for having very "unfair and extreme interpretations of the news." Looking back on the articles, I believe that the selection of published works for both groups consist of work that influences people to believe more of what they think, which seems unfair for anyone just trying to hear what went down without any bias.

I'd like to preface my comment by pointing out that the full Mueller report has not been released, and as such, a detailed description would be impossible. Furthermore, your first article is about an episode of a television series about the Mueller report, so it shouldn't be considered a valid authority on the report anyway. Unfortunately it does seem quite common now for left wing news outlets to just bash Trump, though some bashing would make sense as the article is about Oliver, who himself bashes Trump quite frequently. The report as a whole is very confusing, especially as most of what we've heard about it comes from the Trump administration itself, which is hardly an unbiased source, and since Daily Mail cited it, their information is probably as accurate as it can be though still biased.
